A post out of sheer boredom

I think Edgar Wright is the most underated director by today standards. After seeing every single film he has done, I havent disliked any of them. In my opinion, I find Shaun Of the Dead one of the greatest zombie films of all time, and even my favorite film of all time along Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn. The scene in the third act of Shaun Of the Dead where they fight the zombie inside the winchester while Queen's "Dont stop me know" plays may even be one of my favorite scenes of all time, alongside classics like casablanca or the infamous tree rape scene of Evil Dead 1. Hot Fuzz represents the perfect parody of cop buddy films, while still keeping a great story and an unexpected plot twist. It may have a less subtle humour compared to Shaun of the Dead but for some thats even better. Scott Pilgrim vs. the world is my favorite film released in 2010. Why? cause it has the best editing I have ever seen in recent films, using effects that actually complement the story instead of replacing the characters. I am the first one to say that videogame-based films are terrible, but this IS the perfect film for a gamer. I also dont really like Cera's acting, but in this film he does a great portrail of Scott Pilgrim. I may have not been able of reading the graphic novel, but this movie inspires me to check it out. Its sad that directors such as Bay or Emmerich get much more recognition than directors such as Wright
